A Leading Multinational Chemicals Company is looking for Technical Sales Manager

Job Description:

• Track and review existing business with Key and Strategic accounts and define strategy to further enhance the business by identifying new opportunities.
• Drive Business Development with Small and medium size customers by actively engaging local agents, wherever needed.
• Carry out periodic market mapping including future trends, new opportunities, competition activities, etc., for all End uses. Share the findings with respective BL managers and End-use managers to devise SMART action plan.
• Work with Direct accounts as well as with the local agents to get a monthly Forecast and effective use of the system to manage the forecast in the company systems.
• Identify the requirements for customer training and technical seminar and be an active part of the execution team.
• Support End-use colleagues and commercial team in product sample and commercial order processing by facilitating the interaction between customers and local agents.
• Represent Bangladesh market Business in Regional and International meetings, when necessary.
• Represent the company at various industry forums and events.
• Support complaint handling process by taking necessary actions and proving inputs to the responsible colleagues.
• Work in accordance with the relevant Safety norms defined by the company and local authorities.
• Follow ISO processes relevant to the area of responsibilities and maintain/update the records.
• The key accountabilities are not necessarily complete and can be extended when needed. Description should concentrate on impact on business and innovation (i.e. business contribution, nature and scope of responsibilities, range of activities, processes, projects).

Required Education

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Chemistry or Diploma in Coatings & Allied Technology; MBA preferred.

Required Experience

• 10–12 years in technical sales within paints or allied industries, with 3–5 years in technical/R&D roles.

Other Requirement

• Strong knowledge of product applications, customer requirements, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to build long-term client relationships and solve problems proactively.
